Seung Yang is one of the founding partners of Moon & Yang, APC. Mr. Yang only represents employees and takes great pride in protecting employees’ rights against offending employers. He is licensed to practice in both State and Federal Court.
Known for handling complex employment litigation, Mr. Yang’s approach to handling a case is simple – be thorough, aggressive and practical. Adhering to these principles has proven to be very fruitful for Mr. Yang and his clients.
Mr. Yang specializes in representing employees that have been victims of discrimination, harassment, whistleblower actions, and/or and wrongful termination. Mr. Yang is especially versed in prosecuting cases under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (“FEHA”), where he has successfully litigated against public and private employers, labor organizations and employment agencies, and has obtained millions of dollars for his clients.
In 2018 and 2019, Mr. Yang was selected by Super Lawyers as a “Southern California Rising Star”. This honor is given to no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state after a rigorous peer review process.
Mr. Yang received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School and earned his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of California, San Diego. He is a member in good standing with the California State Bar and the United States District Court for the Central and Northern Districts of California. Mr. Yang is also a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA).
